Geometric perfection. This pyramid-shaped salt has long been collected in Larnaca Salt Lake, Cyprus. In the 12th century, during the reign of Guy de Lusignan, King of Cyprus and Jerusalem, the annual salt production was 3,000 tons, so Larnaca was called Salina.

In August, when the water evaporates, a 10cm thick layer of salt forms. In winter, when the water reappears, it becomes a beautiful sanctuary for migratory birds.
