In Indonesia, white pepper is mainly harvested on the island of Bangka near the city of Muntok. This island is located east of Sumatra in the Java Sea. The peppercorns are collected by hand one by one, then dried in the sun.

This Muntok White Pepper exudes burnt herbs and strong menthol and camphor base notes. The taste is quite spicy, with menthol and eucalyptus spices. Ground Muntok white pepper will delight any poultry in a cream sauce, as well as enhance pan-roasted vegetables, halibut with hollandaise sauce or gooey chocolate caramel cake.
