This exceptional maple syrup is born in the unique forests of Quebec. It is not blended but obtained from producers practicing a sustainable crop. High quality syrup has a mild taste, gold or amber color. Maple syrup is a unique product whose taste and color vary depending on the seasons. As the season progresses, the fructose and glucose levels in the syrup increase and the sucrose levels fall slightly. At the beginning of the season, the syrup is usually lighter and tastes a little sweeter. It is then divided into gold (delicate flavor) or amber (rich flavor) syrups. As the season accelerates, the darker it becomes and the more the caramel aroma develops. Terre Exotique obtains this amber maple syrup from the main maple grower, Martin Malenfrant. Today, the grove of this maple grower uses 65,000 taps for organic maple syrup alone and 5,000 taps for the production of organic cherry syrup.
This product does not contain dyes or additives made from maple (Acer saccharum) juice.
