Originated in Southwest India. Small tailed pepper corn was harvested in Indonesia. Cubebe peppers are obtained from berries that are picked before maturity, then dried and ground.
This pepper is commonly used in curry powder. You can also eat it simply by chewing the pepper corn.
The aroma has a basic note of honey fruit with the aromas of smoked and herbal teas, surrounded by subtle notes of sweet spices and resin. Delicious with all Asian dishes, lobster tails, exotic fruit compote or mint chocolate dessert.
