This night-dark artizan black salt from Hawaii is the union of two natural minerals – purified black lava rocks are placed in ponds of pure seawater and evaporated in the sun. During this unique process, the salt takes on a distinctive black colour thanks to activated carbon. Perfectly black, sometimes called lava salt, this salt is highly valued for its decorative properties.
